Maastricht Sport is a department of the municipality of Maastricht. They contacted me to create two special custom fonts for them. After weighing the options of custom- vs modified type, they choose Insider Pro for their complete corporate identity. So I customized two fonts to fit their needs. These both fonts compliment the basic Insider Pro package and spice up the corporate design.

Description
Xpert Soft is a German software development firm. Their clientele are appraisal offices, disposal companies and insurance firms. They design and licence custom made software, and wanted to upgrade their logo type to mark the upcoming software release. Respected by their client for innovative solutions, Xpert-Soft wanted a logo upgrade with respect to their 26 year old company legacy.

Tornado Fuel
Description
The Tornado Fuel brand is over 35 years old and has a very good reputation in the field. Known for their 'red can' they felt is was time to upgrade their Brand Identity. Commissioned by Stoere Binken Design I did a subtile but effective overhaul of the logo type. The small serifs were removed, proportions optimized and the glyphs were unified. All with respect to the 35 year old logo.

Description
Insider was custom made for Insider Consulting in Düsseldorf, Germany. It’s highly legible at small sizes because of the solid proportions and the well balanced inner forms. It’s optimized for setting longer texts, but also works very well in headlines and leads. With 8 styles (4 weights + italics), the family is very versatile and can be used for typographically complex designs.

Ballet Mechanique is a custom designed font for musician Jeroen Borrenbergs, aka Ballet Mechanique. For his upcoming record releases Jeroen asked me to create a special font for him. As the co-founder of Stoere Binken Design he creates his own artwork and therefor had very specific wishes. The font should be warm, soft and have soul.

Stoere Binken Design is my own graphic design studio. We redesigned our corporate identity and to celebrate that I created a custom typeface for ourselves. The font should stand out from the competition, who often uses uninteresting corporate typefaces. We wanted something different, masculine and razor sharp. Out came SBD Block.

Description
In 2005 Boris Kahl asked me to create a personal font for their Bastard Project - Choose My Identity. Instead I made two. Cucaracha is a real bastard. It's provocative, loud and egocentric. The idea behind Bastard was to bring together photographers, writers, illustrators, graphic designers, musicians and typographers to create a solid and unique book that also functions as a work of art.

Plan is a corporate typeface made for Plan A Ontwerp, a graphic design studio located in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
Based on the rough sketches by the studio owner and graphic designer, I designed, mastered and finetuned the complete Plan font family.

Description
This font was created from the Siventi Products BV logo I designed. Siventi intended to sell custom made lifestyle products. I believe that a good Brand doesn't have to be limited to one specific appearance or color scheme. It should inspire, motivate and guide the user to a higher level. That's why Siventi has a text font called 'Logo Wide' and a set of logo based icons called 'Icono'.

Description
My font Kryptonite was originally customized for a product Brand, way back in 1998. It was applied in a divers packaging line and different print- and online material. It even was the first typeface I ever released.
Kryptonite is a layered typeface that consists of three styles that can be stacked on top of eachother to create a sharp 3D effect.
