Accelerator: v2.0 released

HOT NEWS - The all new and improved Accelerator is out! The first font foundry where you can buy it is T26. This 2.0 version carries the inofficial name ‘Warp’.
The next foundries where you’ll be able to buy Accelerator will be MyFonts and Veer. I’ll keep you informed about the release on this font blog.
Since day one Accelerator is my most sold font. Due to it’s enormous success, many users asked me to do a workover and offer more value for their money. So I did.

Accelerator 2.0

Here is a list of the featured updates:
• Added a full characterset (no math signs though)
• Overall spacing, hinting and kerning improvements
• Glyph improvements (most important: B, D, M, N, Z, 0)
• Optical improvements (harmony, balance)
• 4 Bonus ligatures (complete ligature set available in Accelerator DriverGear)

Font formats
Accelerator is available in 4 formats: Open Type Flavoured (OTF), Macintosh PS1 (Suitcase), Windows PS (PFB), Windows True Type (TTF).
The OTF is a cross platform font that features many (bonus) ligatures and typographical extra’s that fire up Accelerator.

Accelerator DriverGear
Also available is a companoin font called Accelerator DriverGear. This font contains very cool ligatures from cars, like GTi, GTX, XTi, TDi, and many more. It also contains many more standard and discretionary ligatures.

Extra versions
Last but not least, some extra versions of the font will be available, like a Swash, Alt and Warp. More about that later on.
